Is it our obsession with the antique aesthetic of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey? Is it the way Alex Consani is absolutely serving in this campaign? Or should we blame that Taurus energy that simply can’t resist earthly beauty and the dazzling shine of precious metals? Whatever it is, it’s Pandora and it arrived on 27 August.
Pandora is expanding its Talisman collection this autumn with a new zodiac-inspired chapter designed to celebrate identity, individuality and self-expression. Launched globally on 27 August, the collection introduces zodiac medallions, reversible rings – a sweet treat for Aquarius’ fascination with all things magical – and chain necklaces crafted in sterling silver and 14k gold plating, allowing wearers to create personalised combinations inspired by astrology.
Photographed by Cass Bird, the campaign features Alex Consani, Mahi Kabra and Jill Kortleve in a series of images and films that explore identity as something constantly evolving and celebrate the qualities that make every individual unique. “With their imperfect beauty, Talismans are much more than jewellery: they are discreet symbols and subtle reminders of strength, hope and destiny. Together, their inscriptions create a poetic tapestry – a celebration of life and the values that guide us,” said Pandora’s Creative Directors, Francesco Terzo and Filippo Ficarelli.
Drawing on ancient talismans and archaeological discoveries, the collection combines handcrafted finishes, mixed metals and aged textures with symbolic details, including synthetic mother-of-pearl, constellation-inspired stones, carved cameos and hidden Latin inscriptions. The range also features charms representing the four classical elements – earth, water, air and fire – alongside the reversible Sun and Moon ring engraved with the phrase “Through hardships, to the stars.”
