The Brooklyn Mirage is now Pacha New York. Yes, you read that right. The venue enters a new phase under a name that carries more than fifty years of dance music history. For Brooklyn, it signals a shift that keeps the space active while placing it into a wider international conversation. The site remains the same, but its role within New York City’s nightlife is being redefined through a clearer focus on music and long-format club culture.
Pacha New York positions itself as a cultural platform, and the programming brings international artists and local talent onto the same stage, without separating global names from the city’s own scene. This approach reflects how electronic music currently moves, shaped by circulation, exchange, and constant overlap between places. The dance floor becomes a meeting point, not a showcase. “New York, the financial and cultural capital of the world, represents more than a market expansion for FIVE and Pacha; it marks a defining moment in our global journey. This move reflects the strength of our vision, the resilience of our platform, and our ambition to help shape the future of entertainment on a global stage,” says Kabir Mulchandani, Chairman and Chief Executive of FIVE Holdings.
As it has just been confirmed, the first season will run from June to October 2026. Across these months, the venue will host large-scale electronic shows alongside artists rooted in NYC’s underground. Nights are built around extended sets and gradual development, and production supports the experience, but the focus remains on sound and presence.
The open-air character that defined the Brooklyn Mirage continues to shape Pacha New York. Dancing under the sky remains central to how the venue operates, maintaining a physical relationship between crowd and music. That openness has long allowed different audiences to coexist, and it remains one of the venue’s defining qualities. Outside of the summer season, the adjacent Great Hall will operate year-round. The space will host multi-genre programming and live formats, extending the venue’s activity beyond seasonal clubbing.
Pacha New York does not arrive with a promise to reinvent nightlife, and its focus is practical and direct. Provide a space for artists to play properly, for audiences to spend time with music, and for scenes to intersect without forcing direction. The dance floor stays at the center, and everything else builds from there.
