You know what they say: be careful what you wish for. It’s cool to have idyllic ideas in your head, but when they come true, they might not be as great as you might’ve thought at first. That’s what happens to Bear (Michael Johnston), the main character, who uses a mysterious ‘One Wish Willow’ to win his crush’s heart — Nikki, played by Inde Navarrette. More specifically, he asks: “I wish Nikki Freeman loved me more than anyone in the entire world.” Boom, said and done. What first looks like a winning idea quickly turns into a nightmare fuelled by obsession and jealousy.
