Mykita has always been interested in how eyewear fits into everyday life, not as an object that demands attention but as something that quietly becomes part of how we move and look. With Lessrim, the brand turns to rimless frames and approaches them from a simple idea: letting the face lead and the glasses follow.
Rather than presenting rimless eyewear as something neutral or invisible, Lessrim treats it as a conscious choice. The frames feel light, almost unobtrusive, designed to sit naturally without changing how you see yourself. They don’t try to define a look. Instead, they adapt to it, allowing expression to come through without interference. The collection keeps things calm and balanced. Soft metallic tones and subtle colour pairings add character without standing out too much. It’s the kind of design that reveals itself over time, through wear, movement, and familiarity, rather than through immediate impact.
Every Lessrim model is handmade at Mykita Haus in Berlin, continuing the brand’s long-standing focus on making things carefully and with intention. That approach has shaped many of their recent projects. Earlier this year, they collaborated with Leica, another example of how Mykita works across disciplines without losing its sense of identity.
Lessrim reflects a way of thinking about design that values presence without excess, comfort without compromise, and objects that earn their place by fitting into real life rather than trying to stand apart from it.
