The sky is arguably one of the most inspiring, beautiful elements in nature. Alright, it might not be all of that right now — in many countries, it’s mostly grey and covered in rainy clouds. However, the chromatic range that sunrises, sunsets, and dusks offer is almost endless: all shades of blue, bright oranges, vibrant reds, and subtle purples and greens. For their Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, Miu Miu portrays a group of artists and models “from dawn until dusk, light and shadow moving from distinct to diffuse.”
Lensed by Jamie Hawkesworth, the Italian House is mostly inspired by the well-known golden hour, that very specific time when the sun shines in a warm, cosy light. Songwriter and model, Sateen Besson, actress Li Gengxi, actress, director and screenwriter, Suzanne Lindon, singer and songwriter Olivia Rodrigo, and models Rachel Agbonze and Amelie Sante all come together in this campaign that puts the emphasis on a wardrobe that is “uplifting, at once industrial and ultra-feminine, strong and sweet,” consisting of oversized leather jackets, cotton poplin shirts, aprons (they were a hot topic when they were first sent down the runway, if you recall), florals, classic bags (Utilitaire, Beau, Wander), and bold accessories like a pair of red sunnies.
“Here is a place that lies somewhere between the real and the unreal, the natural and the hypernatural,” reads the press release. At a time when the world around us seems darker and more pessimistic than ever, this Miu Miu S/S 2026 campaign looks for the exact opposite: brightness, optimism, beauty, and lightness.
