Under the creative direction of Francesco Risso, Marni welcomes the summer with a collaborative project alongside No Vacancy Inn, the brainchild of Tremaine Emory, Ade ‘Acyde’ Odunlami and Brock Korsan. The accompanying campaign pictures have been shot by Ghanaian artist Derrick Ofosu Boateng on the beaches of Accra (Ghana). The Marni x No Vacancy Inn Spring/Summer will be launched globally with an event at Maxfield, Los Angeles on April 20th. The collection will be will be available in Asia starting from April 27th.
A kaleidoscopic and joyful addition to your summer wardrobe, the capsule collection includes men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear. Birthed out of the wish to join Marni and like-minded creative thinkers into a series of creative exchanges. This capsule collection forms part of a multidisciplinary program spanning from in-store happenings to co-designed collections. Titled Marni Jams – the programme mimics the brand’s will to foster cross-disciplinary dialogues and inspire its ever-growing community.

Captured through the saturated lens of Ghanaian artist Derrick Ofosu Boateng, his signature hueism – inspired by the richness of West African culture, offers an original point of view for the collection inspired and reinterpreted through a series of Ghanian proverbs. As a photographer, Boateng's aims to influence the world’s perception of Africa and its art often viewed through a limited lens in film and media.
