After 2 years in which we have spent long periods of time confined at home, maintaining safety distances and following strict health protocols, being back to normal has not been easy for everyone. Getting used to how we socialized before the pandemic, after having been forced to spend so much time with ourselves, has been a major challenge for society as a whole. Also for Lucy & La Mer, who is now releasing her new single, Don't It Feel Good, inspired by the emotional ups and downs we've experienced and how she now opens her wings again to take flight.
“I really started to feel my insecurities and self-doubts come back when I started to socialize again. But now, I finally feel ready to get back out there and explore and have fun,” explains the bisexual artist and mental health advocate. Her new release celebrates the arrival of Pride month, saying “it's about community and celebration.” A celebration more important than ever in which, besides to claiming rights and demanding social advances, we can recover hope once and for all, celebrate life and meet again with our loved ones.

Lucy & La Mer sends a necessary message through her new single, Don't It Feel Good. “I’m releasing this song now because I want to inspire folks to let go and live in the moment, especially anyone who is still feeling the weight of the world around them. You deserve moments of absolute joy,” she says as she announces the dates of her upcoming shows.
