Cinema icon Chiara Mastroianni, daughter of actors Marcello Mastroianni and Catherine Deneuve, stars in the new Loewe Publication for Fall/Winter 2020, which sees her dressed in military-inspired outerwear while pulling up at the Maison de l’UNESCO building in Paris in a classic convertible car. Like previous publications, Japanese photographer Fumiko Imano is the artist behind this limited-edition run of 1200 hand-numbered copies.
Mastroianni, who was awarded in Cannes last year for her performance in On a Magical Night, follows a trail of models and celebrities including Kaia Gerber, Amber Valletta, Saskia de Brauw or Fei Fei Sun, who’ve previously displayed Jonathan Anderson’s collections at the same building – the same that hosts Loewe’s runway shows. Art directed and designed by M/M, the Loewe Publication #32 serves as a preview of the upcoming Fall/Winter 2020 collection, which is already available online and in selected stores.
