When we last spoke to Grace Kay in July 2022, she was releasing her single Open, an electrifying pop anthem with a message of encouragement and expanding one's horizons. Now, one year later, we catch up with her again on the occasion of the release of her debut album Grace’s Gospel in collaboration with indie-imprint Trailing Twelve Records. Her just-released 10-track album is an earnest ode to sisterhood, role models, and stepping out on your own. Welcome to this project loaded with meaning and feeling with which the artist continues to make progress in her musical path.
Every song transports us to a dimension beyond tangible, that has more to do with energy, with elements that are felt but cannot be touched, achieving a mesmerising effect on the audience. Each track honours a specific woman who has bestowed meaningful influence on Grace, weaving a rich tapestry depicting confidence inspired by the coalescence of divine feminine force. This release unites the spiritual energy with a great sound that demonstrates the savoir-faire of Grace Kay, who is finally putting her truth on full display and in full form for the world to experience after years of painstakingly sculpting each note and each lyric of her record to perfection.

We must not fail to mention the music video of the title track, Grace's Gospel, directed by Anjoum Agrama and filmed in San Clemente, in which the artist connects with nature, the body movement and her purest essence. Grace benevolently extends her hand to a cast confined within different societal frames, breaking them from the shackles of categorization and allowing them to blossom towards a greener pasture of individuality in a beautiful song that concludes the album and is dedicated to her niece.
