2026 is already shaping up to be a defining year for Eyre Llew. This week, the Nottingham band confirmed the arrival of Bloom, their long-awaited second album, set for release on September 18. Together with the news, they’ve also shared the title track alongside a new video, offering the first glimpse into what this next chapter holds.
“This is the start of a whole new chapter for us, and we’d love you to be part of it,” they shared. There’s a different tone here, one that moves away from constant motion and leans into something more grounded. Rather than chasing scale, the record turns towards something more intimate. “It’s about the moment everything slowed down, and we chose something real — love, home, and growth,” they explain, pointing to a shift that sits at the core of this new work.
You can hear that change already in the title track, where space and restraint carry as much weight as the sound itself. Written across lockdown and its aftermath, Bloom draws from lived moments, closeness, and imagining something more stable. The cinematic scope that has defined their music is still there but it now holds back just enough to let fragility come through, giving the record a different kind of presence.
To mark the release, the band will return to Nottingham for their biggest hometown show to date at The Nest on September 19, bringing Bloom into a live setting designed to match its atmosphere. Following their recent performance in Edinburgh last week, more dates are already lined up across the UK, including stops in Brighton, Manchester, and London, continuing the momentum as this new chapter begins to take shape in real time.
