But if the previous two films were clearly informed by the first two books of the series, the third movie has been said to take stories from two different volumes. The much-awaited third instalment of the trilogy will land in cinemas worldwide mid-December, and audiences are already nervous to uncover the end of this epic story that has made us dream (or have nightmares) of intergalactic wars, power shifts, conspiracy, love, sandworms, and divination.
