Beyond the line-up and the music, one of the things CRSSD Festival audiences value most is the atmosphere. The energy. The feeling that, for two days, the San Diego waterfront becomes a shared space where thousands of people move to the same rhythm. That atmosphere is exactly what this photo gallery captures from the Spring 2026 edition, which returned to Waterfront Park with another carefully curated programme of global electronic talent.
Since its launch in 2015, CRSSD has built a reputation as one of North America’s most respected electronic music festivals. Part of that success lies in its balance. Each edition blends some of the biggest names in the scene with emerging artists and cult favourites, creating a line-up that feels thoughtful rather than overwhelming. This year’s Spring edition followed that formula, bringing together a wide range of sounds. Among the standout names were Amelie Lens, Cirez D, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake and Lane 8—artists who have helped shape the global house and techno landscape over the past decade. Alongside them appeared acts such as Modeselektor, TOKiMONSTA, Polo & Pan and The Martinez Brothers, each bringing their own sonic identity to the weekend. Meanwhile, performers like Clara Cuvé, Alignment, Deborah De Luca and Space 92 pushed the energy into darker, high-intensity territory.
One of the defining characteristics of CRSSD has always been its setting. With the Pacific Ocean just beyond the stages and the San Diego skyline framing the crowd, the festival offers a backdrop that feels both open and intimate. During the daytime sets, sunlight washes over the park while audiences drift between stages, discovering new artists as much as revisiting familiar ones. As the sun sets, the atmosphere shifts but never loses that sense of ease that defines the festival. The crowds grow denser, the music heavier; yet the spirit remains the same: people dancing together, moving freely through the space and letting the music guide the weekend.
If you were lucky enough to be there, this gallery offers a chance to relive some of those moments that defined the weekend. And if you couldn’t make it to San Diego this time, it’s a glimpse into the atmosphere and energy that make CRSSD such a special stop on the electronic music calendar. Take a look through the photos below, and if they leave you wanting more, stay tuned for the festival’s return this September.
