There is no place in Los Angeles like the Chateau Marmont. The aura of the hotel, which has witnessed the most glamorous events and wildest nights, and has also served as the backdrop of countless fashion editorials and films, is pretty unmatched. But thanks to Chanel, it’s now even more elevated. The French Maison has taken over the Marmont to present the latest campaign of Coco Crush and turned the building into a playground for ambassadors Jennie and Gracie Abrams, along with Mona Tougaard, Lulu Tenney, Akon Changkou, Mathilda Gvarliani and Qun Ye.
A few days ago, singer Gracie Abrams became the newly appointed fine jewellery ambassador of Coco Crush, joining the likes of K-pop megastar Jennie. To celebrate such a feat, Chanel organised a get together on January 7th at the Chateau Marmont, where actors, musicians, and other creative souls including St. Vincent, Margaret Zhang, Dakota Fanning, Gabbriette, PinkPantheress, Petra Collins, Tessa Thompson, and Conan Gray, gathered for an intimate dinner that ended with a surprise performance by Lilly Allen, who treated guests to songs from her newest album, West End Girl.
Today, they’re releasing a playful campaign where the Gracie, Jennie, Mona, Akon, and the rest of the models play hide and seek. Hiding in the bathroom, behind the sofa or under the bed, they have fun exploring the Chateau Marmont while dressed in the latest high-jewellery pieces of the Coco Crush collection. It’s fun, tongue-in-cheek, and shows a younger, funner side to Chanel that we love to see.
