Barely four months have passed since we last spoke about Charlie Jeer, and the pace hasn't slowed for a second. If anything, the months in between have only reinforced the feeling that 2026 is becoming a defining chapter for the British artist. New milestones, bigger stages, and an ever-growing audience have accompanied a rise that now welcomes another highlight with SO GOOD, a collaboration with singer, songwriter, and actress Simone Ashley that continues to push his sound into exciting territory.
The new single brings together two artists who are carving out their own paths while sharing the same instinct for melody and feel-good pop. Produced by Ben Stancombe, SO GOOD blends shimmering disco influences with Jeer's unmistakable saxophone, creating a track that never loses sight of its biggest strength: making you want to press play again. Ashley, who recently introduced her own musical project with Songs I Wrote In New York, fits seamlessly into that universe, adding a fresh perspective without taking anything away from the chemistry that drives the song from beginning to end.
Speaking about the collaboration, Jeer explains that he wanted to create "a song that spreads positivity and joy into the world" while looking back to "a time when the world felt much simpler". Ashley was equally drawn to the project from the outset, saying she admired not only his talent but also his "sense of dreaming big", describing the making of both the song and its video as "wonderful memories".
The numbers surrounding the release suggest this partnership has already struck a chord. The teaser has surpassed 6.7 million views on TikTok, while the pair recently introduced the song with a live performance at Windsor Castle for Prince William. Those milestones arrive alongside more than 150 million career streams, sold-out shows across multiple countries, and a headline tour that will soon take Jeer across Europe and Australia ahead of the release of his forthcoming EP, Take Away My Problems
