Who has one of the best lineups of ambassadors at the moment? Sure, it’s Balenciaga. Pierpaolo Piccioli has unveiled the Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, shot by legendary David Sims in a Parisian atelier. The campaign pairs talent like iconic Winona Ryder, breakout star Hudson Williams, and actor/director Harris Dickinson with the brand’s Summer 26 and Fall 26 collections in a way that feels alive, intimate, and totally unforced.
The new era of Balenciaga couldn’t be complete until the ambassadors (archetypes, muses, or whatever you want to call them) were announced. Titled Heart and Body, the project drops the polish of constructed personas and instead elevates real individuals whose stories and presence speak louder than any stylistic gimmick. Rather than leaning on archetypes or celebrity caricatures, Piccioli’s roster celebrates diversity in every sense: long-time collaborators like Winona Ryder, Roh Yoonseo, Harris Dickinson, Labrinth, Danielle Deadwyler, and Mona Tougaard. All chosen as Brand Ambassadors or Friends of the House. In Piccioli’s own words, he sought “individuals, not characters,” building a sense of community bound not by aesthetics but by shared values.
This shift marks Balenciaga’s evolution into a House where narrative and nuance matter as much as silhouette. Classic Balenciaga techniques meet fresh interpretation that we saw on his debut show last October, creating pieces that feel low key iconic on every level, from soft tailoring to bold silhouettes that stand in dialogue with the wearer’s identity.
