Alden Song has been part of New York’s nightlife almost his entire life. Making his professional debut at just eight years old, the DJ and producer grew up surrounded by the city’s clubs and dance floors. More than a decade later, after appearances at venues like Cielo, Pink Elephant, and HK Hall, he continues to carve out his place in the electronic scene. And today, he’s releasing a new single, Spin.
His latest release is a collaboration with Los Angeles–based singer and songwriter 20XII. The track brings together Alden’s house-driven production and her sharp vocal delivery, layering steady beats, playful synths, and a driving bassline with lyrics designed for the dancefloor. “It’s for anyone who needs to feel alive and unstoppable on the dance floor,” 20XII explains.
The release follows Tekera, an Afro house track made with South African producer Iti, and highlights Alden’s growing interest in collaboration. Moving between the studio and live DJ sets, he continues to test new approaches while developing his own sound. With Spin, that process results in a record that blends familiar house elements with a fresh vocal edge.
The video for Spin was released just a few days ago, adding another layer to the project and giving listeners a visual entry point. Combined with steady support from artists like Don Diablo and Shiba San, it shows how Alden is gradually building momentum.
With more music in the pipeline and shows scheduled across New York and Los Angeles, Alden Song’s trajectory points toward a steady evolution rather than sudden reinvention. Spin may be his first collaboration with 20XII, but it offers a glimpse of where his curiosity could take him next.
