Growing Canadian artist AJA, presents her latest single, Find Better, imparting a message about trusting one’s intuition. At nineteen years old, she reflects on her experience with a long-distance and toxic relationship through her music, influenced by her relocation to Los Angeles.
Since her launch in 2020, AJA has been steadily working on her career, ever since with only eight years old, she began writing her own music. In 2023, she joined a tour around the US, supporting fellow artist Leah Kate. This summer, she’s preparing for a tour in the UK and Europe, where she’ll be supporting Charlotte Sands. Following the release of this new single, AJA looks forward to her undoubtedly promising future, more than seven million streams on Spotify are already a good hint of what to expect.
AJA shared, “I wrote the song about a year and a half ago when I was living in LA. I was in the early stages of a toxic relationship, that I think I knew deep down it was going nowhere good. It was a long-distance relationship. He was supposed to move to LA, but that never happened. Had I known that, I would have never gotten involved. Mostly, the song is about staying with someone who you know isn’t right for you.” Find Better is the follow up to AJA’s first release of the year If I’m Honest.
