adidas Originals turned the French capital into a massive musical event to celebrate the cultural legacy of its emblematic Superstar sneaker. The event took over the adidas Arena in the heart of Paris, attracting thousands of fans for a night of music and urban culture, where Angèle, Asake, Luidji, Shygirl, Theodora, SSSound, and La Mano 1.9 took over the stage to celebrate with everyone.
First things first: What is The Sound of Superstar(s)? It’s a cultural celebration. The Superstar has always lived at the crossroads of sport and culture, with music playing a central role. Last week’s event was designed as a moment for the community to experience the energy and creativity that has defined the silhouette since its debut.
For this occasion, the brand brought Paris together to celebrate the activation. Each artist took the stage wearing the Superstar sneaker, showcasing its versatility across different music genres and cultural movements. The arena itself was transformed: massive art installations, graphic displays inspired by shoeboxes, and huge portraits of brand ambassadors like Jennie Kim, Bad Bunny, and Missy Elliott set the tone. Tickets were free, distributed through the adiClub community and the Champs-Élysées flagship store (drawing long lines of fans). The entire experience proved how the Superstar silhouette continues to be a unifying force in urban culture while blending music, fashion, and sport.
