A decade after its debut, Loewe’s Puzzle bag continues to evolve, celebrating its 10th anniversary with the launch of the newest addition to the family, the Featherlight Puzzle. Teased first at the runway of the Spring/Summer 2025 show, this latest iteration stays true to the recognisable shape and construction of the line while introducing an innovative new material: featherlight nappa lambskin. The result? The softest, lightest version of the Puzzle bag ever created—an achievement that accurately portrays the house's taste for technical mastery and luxury craftsmanship.
Designed by Jonathan Anderson in 2015 as his first bag proposal, the original Puzzle was inspired by the art of paper folding, a deconstruction and reconstruction of geometric shapes that revolutionized modern bag design. The Featherlight Puzzle refines that concept further, enhancing its silhouette with an ultra-soft hand feel and a subtle shine that highlights its construction. Additional details like the slimmer hardware, the leather luggage tag with a secret pocket, the removable Balloon dice, or the metal feet are all elements that contribute to bringing to the user a luxurious yet wearable and functional piece that will surely pass the test of time. Inside, the bag is fully lined with nappa lambskin and finished with a gold Loewe-engraved plaque.
The Featherlight Puzzle is available in Burnt Red, Pecan, and Dark Butter with gold hardware; Aquamarine with silver hardware and black; and this last one takes centre stage at the brand's campaign captured by David Sims featuring actress and director Taylor Russell and shot in the natural landscapes of Catalonia. A balance of heritage and modernity, the Featherlight Puzzle cements Loewe’s reputation for pushing the boundaries of luxury design—proving that even the most established pieces can continue to surprise. The Featherlight Puzzle launches on 20 February in shops and on loewe.com.
