Her musical interests when she was a child blasted everything from Elton John to Hannah Montana, but it wasn't until studying at The New School in NYC that krissy started to truly go after music as a career. The Manhattan-based pop artist is now determined to make a name for herself in the music scene and she is working tirelessly to achieve it so that she can fully dedicate herself to what makes her happiest. She’s now presenting her new single, Want To Want Me, which is the girls' anthem of the summer.
This new release arises from empowerment, it's a song about giving someone one last ultimatum because you know your self-worth. “It's one last plea from them before walking away, knowing they will be sorry for missing out,” says krissy, who has been influenced by electro-dance, disco, grunge rock, and reggae, and combines her love for music with her passion for cinema and fashion. A winning combination that results in an artistic project with attention to detail.
Playing sold-out shows and festivals is one of her main goals in life, and some of her main musical references are Lady Gaga, FKA Twigs, Cher, Madonna, and Mark Ronson, among many others. This latest release, Want To Want Me, arrives after having unveiled Dance 4 U, which already has over 30,000 streams on Spotify. “My upcoming EP, Eat This Cake is thematically about young situations, much inspired by my own romantic experiences. Want to Want Me is the balance of emotions, wanting to declare yourself to this potential lover while also being aware of your self-worth,” she adds.
