As some of you may know, the Church will celebrate in 2025 the Jubilee, the holy year convoked by the Pope since 1300. Millions of pilgrims from all over the world will gather in Rome for this milestone. However, that’s not the only thing happening in the Italian capital; fashion pilgrims will also find their way to the Eternal city because of the Dior Cruise 2026 show, which announced its dates today.
Rome is a historical city like no other; in Europe, together with Athens (and Greece in general), it’s considered one of the cradles of our civilization and the birthplace of Latin culture. For centuries it became the cultural, social, and economic centre of the continent. More recently, it’s inspired dozens of books, films, songs, and more. It is also the birthplace of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the Artistic Director of Dior, so it feels natural that she wants to show her Cruise 2026 collection there in such a special year. After taking place in cities like Athens, Seville, Mexico City, and Edinburgh, the new show will be hosted in Rome on May 27, 2025. Stay tuned!
