Vitali is inspired by subcultures, and he relates pretty much to them: the fact of being half russian, half german makes him something in between two different worlds. Now he feels he is starting to really experience the world around him, and prefers to focus on the present. He started taking photographs lead by the need to do something that might remain forever. His work is marked by improvisation and impulse, maybe because it’s talking about an entire generation.
