Advocating creative exploration and self-discovery, Vans has entered the world of Collina Strada to come up with a fearlessly fluid collection of footwear, apparel and accessories for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. Based and manufactured in New York, Collina Strada, founded by Hillary Taymour, isn’t just a fashion label but a platform aimed at raising awareness on social, cultural and political issues. Staying true to her craft, Taymour’s designs transcend trends and encourage self-reflection through clothing, while her runway shows tackle global dilemmas from racism to politics.
Committed to authenticity and inclusivity, the collection reflects upon Collina Strada’s core ethos of playful and joyful self-expression. Championing positivity, the core motifs of the collection allow for standout wear across a myriad of styles. Each piece is designed to highlight individuality, “I grew up in Southern California and I’ve been wearing Vans my whole life,” says Hillary Taymour, Creative Director and Founder of Collina Strada. “I wore Slip-Ons skateboarding on the pier and to the barn before putting on my boots, so it is such an honor to get to create a collection with the brand.”

The world of Vans x Collina Strada also includes an apparel range led by a matching Strada Hoodie and Sweatpants set in a Sulphur Spring edition – on course to becoming a fully sustainable, the set is cut from overdyed organic French Terry and features curved hems and floral eyelets. Debuting at New York Fashion Week on February 10, models and front row guests will be wearing the brand’s new collaboration available for purchase straight after the show’s finale.
