You may remember Nadia Vaeh’s name since the last time we featured one of her releases, when we said emphatically that she embodied the artist that the new generations need. Being committed to social causes and raising funds for non-profit organizations that promote self-esteem and self-acceptance, the singer has shown from the beginning of her career to be aware not only of what her audience wants to listen to on a musical level but also of what is truly important in life and the needs that people may have. Now Vaeh is back with the release of her new single, Promise Not To Kill You.
“Leading up to PNTKY, I had been reflecting on past relationships, and how I would tend to run away when things got tough, both figuratively and literally,” says Nadia when asked about the process of reflection prior to shaping this new single that we can already enjoy on digital platforms. But, what meaning does this last song have for the artist? “To me, Promise Not To Kill You is a song about committing to someone while acknowledging that it's going to come with a little chaos and it might not look like a storybook romance.”

Being released by Galactic Cat Records and distributed worldwide by Symphonic Distribution Co., this new song takes us on a wild ride. And that's not all. Her new release comes along with a music video directed by RG Lacandola that offers us, as the artist says, “a wild and raucous ride through the desert in search of one's own identity...” Nadia Vaeh starts 2023 strong and we can’t wait to know more about her upcoming projects. “Going into overdrive / Gonna be some wild nights / I'll be your ride or die / And even though the fights,” she sings on Promise Not To Kill You.
