Having recently launched their own imprint label Resilient Little Records under Photo Finish/Virgin Music, MisterWives are now releasing their new single and music video, Wrongside. A song with which we can all connect perfectly as it explores feelings that we have all experienced at some point in our lives. This new single challenges the listener to break free from negative thought patterns and critical inner dialogues, reinforcing the importance of being there for yourself. Because, what is better than taking care of yourself and loving yourself as you are?
“I have spent a lot of my time on the wrong side of my mind- the one full of fear, doubts, insecurities, shame,” confides in us Mandy Lee. “I hope Wrongside feels like a friend to anyone who struggles to be kind to their mind.” The band, which has more than five hundred thousand million streams and have performed at Central Park Summerstage, BottleRock, Jimmy Kimmel Live, GMA, Late Night with Seth Myers – and also with Twenty One Pilots –, now emphasises the importance of not hurting oneself, respecting and loving oneself as we are. And it reminds us that the person with whom we are born, grows up and accompanies us until the end of our days is ourselves.

After experiencing an intensely personal reflection on growth in unexpected places with their last album Superbloom, the frontwoman Mandy Lee along with her bandmates, Etienne Bowler (drums), William Hehir (bass), Marc Campbell (guitar), and Mike Murphy (saxophone), now presents this new release, Wrongside. And the new single comes along with a music video directed by Matty Vogel and Marlena Pavich. Stay tuned because they are also set to perform the Brooklyn Bowl on October 10 as part of a World Mental Health Day Benefit for Backline!
