After launching its last short film “The Fringe” on March 3 – which featured the fashion world’s most sought-after female DJs interpreting the House’s signature Spring/Summer 2014 Bamboo fringe bags – Gucci starts today a special social media campaign starring these DJs.

Thanks to the passion for music of the Creative Director Frida Giannini, who has a vinyl collection of over 8,000 records, Gucci has invited this eclectic group of female disc jockeys such as Harley VieraNewton, JaKissaTaylor-Semple, a.k.a. D.J.Kiss, Pixie Geldof, Leah Weller, Chelsea Leyland, The Misshapes and Mademoiselle Julia, to create special playlists for the brand. The team created exclusive playlists on Gucci's new Spotify hub. The channel will allow users to explore, listen and share these songs on social media.

It is noteworthy that the short film features Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2014 Bamboo Fringe handbag, which is the perfect nightlife accomplice. Also, the original Gucci Bamboo bag is being honored in a tribute in the Gucci Museo in Florence, as one of the most renowned bags of the history.
