“Filmed in a room full of old expensive pianos, the director and I thought it would be great not to touch any of the pianos, as tempting as that may be. So the ending seemed fitting,” says Sean Guerin, half of De Lux alongside Isaac Franco, about their new release, Morning Misses Me. A track which has already been added to the New In Indie playlist on Apple Music that comes along with a music video of over 5 minutes shot, edited and directed by Sean Campos.
This new single that they are now releasing is taken from their upcoming album Do You Need A Release? which comes out this September 23 via Innovative Leisure. Following the release of New Summers last month, this new sneak peek of their new work is a gorgeous piano ballad which is "is about forever being a night owl," as its authors say. “No matter the noise or the time, mornings are always missed.” In less than 2 months we will know the album in its entirety, and it promises to give a lot to talk about. Stay tuned!
